Dallas bbq is now part of RMP

For more than 40 years, we’ve had the privilege of serving New Yorkers across every borough, and today we’re proud to share an important update: Dallas BBQ is now part of New York State’s Restaurant Meals Program (RMP).

This means eligible SNAP/EBT guests can now use their benefits to purchase hot, ready-to-eat meals at all of our participating NYC locations.

The RMP exists to support people who may not have access to a kitchen, food storage, or the ability to prepare meals at home. Households automatically qualify if all members are 60 or older, living with a disability, or experiencing homelessness. No extra application is needed, and guests receive a 10% discount when paying with their EBT card.

Joining the program feels like a natural extension of who we’ve always been. Our mission has never changed: serve generous portions, offer real value, and treat every guest with dignity, hospitality, and fun. Every dish we make — from rotisserie chicken and baby back ribs to hand-cut fries, fresh salads, and our famous sticky wings — is prepared fresh in-house. Our meals are comforting, well-rounded, and priced comparably to cooking at home, but far more convenient for guests who need them.

As Stuart Wetanson shared,

Dallas BBQ has always been about feeding true New Yorkers of all walks and giving back to the city that has supported us for generations. We’re proud to participate in the Restaurant Meals Program and to serve real food with real value to the people who need it most.

The RMP applies to take-out meals only and excludes alcoholic beverages, but otherwise gives eligible guests straightforward access to warm, freshly made food. Ordering and paying with EBT is discreet and just as simple as placing any to-go order at the counter.

(Our Secaucus, NJ location is not included, since RMP is state-specific.)
